Also attending the reception were Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of relevant departments, branches and Phan Thiet City People's Committee.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary listened to representatives of households present the origin and current status of residential land, the implementation of land allocation to serve the Le Duan road project and their wishes after the land was allocated. Some households whose land was subject to reclamation said that the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City had decided to allocate land for resettlement, then issued another decision to revoke the previous land allocation decision, causing many difficulties for people's lives, especially households with many family members.
The leaders of Phan Thiet City People's Committee and relevant agencies answered and informed about issues related to compensation and resettlement policies, determining the minimum land area for housing; reported the reasons for issuing a decision to revoke the previous decision and pointed out the difficulties and inadequacies in the process of resolving compensation policies regarding money and residential land.
After listening to opinions, Comrade Duong Van An - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his sympathy with the thoughts and aspirations of the remaining households whose land was recovered. Regarding this issue, the Provincial Party Committee Secretary said that the Provincial Party Committee has issued directive documents to promptly consider and resolve for the people according to regulations. However, the consultation and resolution process of the functional agencies is still slow as required. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee will issue a directive document to rectify and urge to speed up the implementation progress. At the same time, request the relevant functional agencies and Phan Thiet City to continue reviewing and focusing on clarifying each case and aspirations of the people for resolution. In that process, it is necessary to base on the housing development program, the Government 's guidelines, and specific provisions of the law to resolve.
In response to the direction of the Provincial Party Secretary, all households agreed and hoped that the relevant agencies would soon resolve the issue to ensure legitimate rights, and at the same time share the difficulties, shortcomings, and issues for the common good and for the development of the homeland.
