Binh Giang ranked first in the "Youth with Traffic Culture" Contest

On the afternoon of December 16, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee to organize the "Youth with Traffic Culture" Contest in Hai Duong province in 2024.

4 teams from cluster 1 participated in the competition, including: Hai Duong city and 3 districts of Nam Sach, Cam Giang, Binh Giang. The teams went through 4 rounds: team greeting, knowledge acquisition, I love Vietnam and youth with traffic culture.

In the "Team Greeting" contest, the teams took turns greeting the audience by briefly and vividly introducing their unit's activities in maintaining traffic order and safety through poetry, songs, folk songs, plays, etc.

In the "Knowledge Discovery" round, 5 members of each team answered 10 questions from the organizers in the form of multiple choice questions. Each answer took 5 seconds to think. When the time was up, the teams raised their answer boards to answer.

In the "I love Vietnam" contest, teams propagate through skits, songs, dances, poems, chants, etc. about the traffic order and safety situation in the locality; instruct youth union members and people to comply with traffic laws, promote the pioneering and voluntary role of local youth union members in maintaining traffic order and safety.

In the contest "Youth with traffic culture", each team sent a representative to present a content with a traffic topic and give solutions to contribute to ensuring traffic order and safety.

With a vivid and creative performance, careful investment and preparation, the Binh Giang district team won first prize; second prize belonged to the Cam Giang team.

Fans cheered enthusiastically for the teams participating in the competition.

Previously, Ninh Giang district and Kinh Mon town also won first prize in the "Youth with traffic culture" contest in clusters 2 and 3 held on December 7 and 8.

Through the contest, the organizers hope that each youth union member will become an active propagandist, helping union members, youth and people strictly comply with regulations and be cultured when participating in traffic.

According to the report of the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Duong province, in November, there were 48 traffic accidents and collisions in the province, killing 13 people and injuring 43 people. All of these accidents and collisions were in the field of road traffic. From the beginning of 2024 to now, there have been 629 traffic accidents and collisions in the province, killing 208 people and injuring 537 people; compared to the same period in 2023, there was an increase of 280 cases (80.2%), an increase of 13 deaths (6.7%), and an increase of 310 injuries (136.6%).
