Accordingly, the festival is expected to be held in December 2023. At the meeting, artist Le Quy Duong introduced the general project. Accordingly, the main space will take place on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Phan Thiet City. There will be a central stage and community stages that will take place continuously during the festival. The festival uses the latest technology and installation art of light and sound to create multi-dimensional perspectives of the stage that are both modern and traditional.
During the 5 days, the activities scheduled to take place at the festival include: Opening Ceremony, World Peace Concert, performances by international art troupes, community performances, street festivals, fashion shows, international seminars, and closing ceremony. The special feature is that the artists can interact directly with the audience.
Up to this point, about 16 international art troupes have registered to participate from 5 continents. In addition, there will be the participation of art troupes performing the quintessence of Vietnamese art from the North, Central, Central Highlands, South Central, and South. The leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that this festival is held in the context of Binh Thuan actively organizing activities within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2023 - Binh Thuan - Green Convergence.
Binh Thuan tourism industry has welcomed more than 5.2 million visitors in the past 7 months, the province will continue to be a destination for domestic and international tourists in the coming time.
At the meeting, delegates agreed to choose the theme for the festival as connecting global creativity and basically agreed with the project. The festival will take place from December 7-12, 2023. In addition, delegates gave additional comments on building a trailer, adding more program content; space and ideas for the stage; environmental sanitation; training of volunteers, communication work for the festival... Safety must be put first. Delegates hope that the program will have easy-to-understand and colorful content, to gradually spread performing arts to the public.
If approved, the Festival will help enhance the cultural and tourism value of Phan Thiet city in particular and Binh Thuan province in general. It will create opportunities for people and tourists to enjoy unique and diverse art performances. At the same time, it will contribute to building a new brand of international-scale art and culture in Binh Thuan.
