Binh Thuan works with Facebook account owner who posted false information

Faced with that situation, Bac Phan Thiet Primary School provided the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Thuan with relevant information, documents, and certificates and affirmed that this information was false and defamed the school's reputation.

The Department of Information and Communications Inspectorate coordinated with relevant agencies and units to work with Mr. TTC (23 years old), residing in Phu Thinh quarter, Phu Long town, Ham Thuan Bac district, who is the administrator of the Facebook fanpage account "Binh Thuan Student Journalism - Media Club".

At the meeting, Mr. TTC could not provide evidence to prove that he posted information related to Bac Phan Thiet Primary School and according to his explanation, he took the information from a text message provided by "another person" and admitted that the above information had not been verified.

Mr. TTC was aware, voluntarily removed the post, corrected the incorrect information and apologized to the staff, workers as well as the parents' association, parents and students of Bac Phan Thiet Primary School.

After reviewing the nature and level of the violation, the Inspector of the Department of Information and Communications disciplined, reminded and asked Mr. C to seriously learn from his experience; asked Mr. TTC to comply with the provisions of the law on providing information online as prescribed.
