Provincial Border Guards coordinated to fight the case, seized 12kg of marijuana

(QBĐT) - On April 16, the Provincial Border Guard Command (BĐBP) announced that the Department of Drug and Crime Prevention and Control, the Border Guard Command in coordination with the Border Guard of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh provinces, Hanoi City Police, and Cha Lo Border Gate Customs Branch had just arrested a subject, seized 12kg of dried marijuana and many other related exhibits.

The subject was arrested with evidence of 12kg of dried marijuana.

This is a special project to combat drug trafficking and illegal transportation with a wide, transnational area of ​​operation, extremely sophisticated and strict methods, divided into stages and phases. The subjects communicate via social networks (telegram, zalo...) to manage the process of transporting and trading drugs; dried cannabis is packaged in goods produced in a third country and then consigned via means of transport to Vietnam.

Currently, the Provincial Border Guard Command is coordinating to complete legal procedures and handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
