The conference was attended by Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuong - Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Head of the Steering Committee for the National High School Graduation Exam, Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, together with leaders of the Departments and functional Departments of the Ministry of Education and Training; Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Ministry of Public Security ; Government Inspectorate; Government Cipher Committee... and more than 500 delegates who are Principals and Vice Principals of universities; Leaders of Departments of Education and Training of provinces and cities across the country.

In his opening speech at the Conference, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong acknowledged the efforts and positive achievements of the entire education sector in the recent exam. At the same time, he also highly appreciated the thoughtful and professional organization of Ton Duc Thang University. In addition, the Deputy Minister requested that the conference seriously summarize and draw lessons in depth to continue to improve the quality of exam organization, ensuring fairness and effectiveness for the following years.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training , 1,165,289 candidates applied for the 2025 high school graduation exam, an increase of nearly 100,000 candidates compared to 2024. Nationwide, 2,494 exam sites were arranged with a total of 49,849 exam rooms. Exam supervision at the exam sites was organized safely, seriously, according to plan, ensuring practicality and efficiency.

Reporting on the organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong - Director of the Department of Quality Management - Ministry of Education and Training said: "The 2025 High School Graduation Exam was successful, safe and serious, reflecting the quality of teaching and learning. To prepare for 2026, the Department will continue to promote positive points, and at the same time learn from the experience of the last exam to further improve the quality of organization."
The conference pointed out a number of important experiences to prepare for the 2026 exam - when all students participate in the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program such as strengthening coordination between localities and host units; innovating training content, focusing on practice; upgrading exam management software; timely and clear communication to students, parents and teachers about the exam.

This year's high school graduation exam went well and achieved remarkable results, despite facing many challenges, especially in the context of increasingly strong artificial intelligence applications. With lessons learned from 2025, the education sector and related agencies and units will be determined to continue promoting achievements, further improving the organization and technology methods so that the high school graduation exam in 2026 and the following years will take place more safely, transparently and effectively.
