On the evening of October 6 (August 15th of the lunar calendar), a series of Mid-Autumn Festival activities took place in Can Thanh Park and main roads in Can Gio Commune (HCMC).

Special Mid-Autumn Festival of coastal people

While the float parade was about to depart, it suddenly started to rain, but the mid-autumn atmosphere at the seaside was still sweltering hot.

When the rain stopped, people and students excitedly held mid-autumn lanterns and lined up to parade through the central streets of Can Gio commune.

Wherever the parade went, people on both sides of the street cheered and encouraged, creating a joyful atmosphere.

Joining the parade were Ms. Vo Thi Diem Phuong - Vice Chairman of Can Gio Commune People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Can Gio Whale Festival 2025 , actress Kim Tuyen, artists and children.

Previously, the city's art troupe visited and presented nearly 350 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to students of Can Thanh Primary School.

Watch fireworks, watch Tieu Minh Phung and Nguyen Vu sing

At Can Thanh Park, the organizing committee of the Can Gio Whale Festival 2025 organized an art program to celebrate the Whale Festival and the full moon festival night .

A music night with youthful, vibrant songs; lyrical, romantic melodies imbued with the homeland through the voices of singers Nguyen Vu, Tieu Minh Phung, Xuan Dinh KY, Pham Thieng Ngan, Quach Phu Thanh, Ngoc Linh, Thoai Nghi, artist Cam Loan...

More than 1,000 spectators surrounded the stage, cheering enthusiastically for the singer's performances.

A series of songs about the Mid-Autumn Festival were sung, making many audiences nostalgic for the family atmosphere such as: The Star Lantern, What is the Moon Called, I Go to See the Full Moon Festival...

Interspersed are familiar melodies reminiscent of the homeland, renewed to catch up with the tastes of young people: Love of the homeland, Bringing love back to the homeland, Old starlings, Black horse song...

Nguyen Vu was loved by the audience, he responded to that love through three songs: Vietnam Green Journey, Say Mot Doi Vi Em, Pho Ky Niem.

The Can Gio Whale Festival stage exploded with the appearance of Tieu Minh Phung. He stirred up the atmosphere with familiar hits: Ly rapper, Ly Luk Lak, Vo chong minh que . The song Vo chong minh que, which was once a collaboration between Tieu Minh Phung and Phuong My Chi, attracted more than 1.4 million views on YouTube after more than a month of release.

The program also includes songs praising the homeland's sea such as: The sea sings this afternoon, Harvest song, Can Gio innovation, Shrimp and fish song.

On this occasion, people can watch floating lanterns on the sea and enjoy special fireworks displays.
