The Navy Command directs units to proactively prevent storm No. 11.

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 11, internationally named MATMO, the Navy Command has sent a telegram directing agencies and units to proactively respond.

Continue to strictly maintain forces and vehicles on duty; regularly update and closely monitor weather developments; take measures to ensure safety for forces and vehicles operating at sea.

Supplement and adjust response plans and options to ensure the safety of barracks, warehouses, stations, and workshops; take precautions against post-storm circulation causing heavy rain; review and assess the situation in areas at high risk of flash floods, landslides, flooding, and areas prone to long-term isolation and separation, and in need of food support; promptly report proposals and seek instructions from commanders at all levels.

Prepare forces and means, proactively respond to rescue, help people and participate in search and rescue at sea; ensure absolute safety while performing tasks, strictly comply with discipline in mass mobilization work. Review and support policy families and sponsored fishermen's families.

Organize filming and photography of search and rescue activities and help people for writing articles, reporting news and making propaganda materials.
