Coast Guard Region 2 Command proactively prevents storm No. 10

(NLDO) - Ships performing missions at sea and anchored at ports have well prepared storm prevention plans and search, rescue and relief plans.

In order to proactively prepare for the complicated developments of storm No. 10 (Bualoi), the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 (based in Da Nang City) has deployed preparations for storm prevention, control and response for agencies and units in the entire Command Region.

Ships take safety measures to prevent storm No. 10.

Major General Tran Quang Tuan, Commander of Coast Guard Region 2, requested agencies and units to develop plans and strategies to mobilize forces, vehicles, command and information systems, equipment, and work to ensure safety in preventing, combating, and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10.

Agencies and units in the Coast Guard Region 2 Command have actively and proactively deployed measures to prevent and combat storms; the system of barracks, warehouses, weapons and equipment has been stably and firmly secured; the system of trees has been trimmed, the drainage system has been cleared; all types of billboards and signs have been removed to ensure safety; the mobile teams have ensured the number of personnel, ready to carry out the mission.

Officers and soldiers of Squadron 202 reinforce and brace houses to prevent storm No. 10.

At the same time, strictly maintain the on-duty regime, ensure continuous communication; proactively monitor and grasp the storm's developments; continue to thoroughly grasp the telegrams and instructions from superiors; organize reviews, adjustments, and supplements to plans; provide sufficient equipment and materials for storm and flood prevention, search and rescue, prepare forces and means to respond promptly and effectively when situations arise and ensure safety in all aspects.

Proactively coordinate closely with local Party committees and authorities in the stationed area, be ready to mobilize to help people respond, and minimize damage caused by the storm to the people.

Ships on duty at sea and anchored at ports of Squadron 21 and Squadron 202 have well prepared storm prevention plans, search and rescue plans, and are ready to mobilize when situations arise, ensuring safety and minimizing damage caused by storms.
