Training in software skills in photojournalism editing

(CLO) On October 31, in Hanoi, the Center for Journalism Training - Vietnam Journalists Association organized a training course on skills in using Adobe Photoshop software in editing and processing press photos.

The training course was attended by over 30 members of the Vietnam Journalists Association from central and local press agencies.

During the 2-day training, lecturer Nguyen Tien Dung - former Deputy Head of the Editorial Secretariat of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper - imparted some basic skills and methods of using Adobe Photoshop software and its applications in editing press photos and press graphic products - Emagazine.

The lecturer also introduces and guides the use of Photoshop software tools: Filters, Clipping Mask, Layer Mask, applying Layer Style effects, balancing colors, cropping photos, being creative with color blending modes; introducing Action and Preset effects in Adobe Photoshop...

Through the class, students will be able to grasp some photo processing skills on Adobe Photoshop software in press photos and Emagazine press products. Thereby, effectively applying in modern press, increasing attractiveness and experience for readers.
