Bryan Mbeumo has signed a five-year contract, with an option for a one-year extension, becoming the Red Devils' third summer signing. British media and Man United confirmed the deal for the 25-year-old Cameroonian includes a £65 million transfer fee and £6 million in add-ons. This amount will be paid to Brentford in installments as agreed by both parties.

Mbeumo also admitted that his decision was pressured by Brentford to reduce his salary demands, thereby helping the London team increase the transfer price. In fact, Brentford repeatedly prolonged the negotiations and demanded a price of up to 70 million pounds plus 7 million in additional fees. Finally, the two sides agreed on 65 million pounds plus 6 million in additional fees, to be paid in 4 installments.
