(VTC News) - Duc Phuc's father shared his gratitude to singer My Tam and musician Ho Hoai Anh - the people who laid the foundation for his son's singing journey at Intervision 2025.

After his son’s victory at Intervision 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - father of singer Duc Phuc shared his emotional thoughts on social media. Unable to hide his pride, Mr. Trung expressed his deep gratitude to those who changed his son’s fate.

"It would be remiss of me not to say these things with gratitude from the bottom of my heart," Mr. Trung wrote in the letter.

With 10 years of ups and downs in his artistic career, Duc Phuc has achieved many milestones in his career, but his victory at the international competition Intervision 2025 is considered by him to be the most important milestone, of national significance.

Duc Phuc's father sent his thanks to My Tam.

The male singer's father wanted to emphasize the role of My Tam - the teacher who changed Duc Phuc's fate at The Voice Vietnam 2015. He called the "brown-haired nightingale" a person with "heart and vision".

The moment Duc Phuc won Intervision 2025.

On September 21 at Live Arena, on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia, Duc Phuc created a miracle when he became the champion of Intervision 2025, winning a prestigious prize including a crystal trophy and 30 million rubles (about 360,000 USD, equivalent to more than 9 billion VND).

As Vietnam's representative at this competition, he conquered the audience with his performance Phu Dong Thien Vuong, inspired by the image of Thanh Giong and the poem Tre Viet Nam by Nguyen Duy. Combining folk music with contemporary rap in three languages: Vietnamese, English and Russian, and elaborate staging with bamboo props, conical hats and traditional costumes.

The moment he raised the winning trophy, Duc Phuc emotionally shared: “I am very happy, thank the audience and the judges for their love for Duc Phuc from Vietnam. On this day 10 years ago, I became the Champion of The Voice Vietnam. And today, I won at Intervision”.
