Immediately after being crowned, his performance with the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong attracted the attention of many major media agencies such as CNN, Reuters, BBC, The Straits Times, Lenta, Regnum... and received many compliments.
Accompanying Duc Phuc at the event was the creative team behind the song.
Music producer DuongK said that what he is most satisfied with is the way Vietnamese folk instruments are combined with vibrant electronic music, creating a unique blend of strong fighting spirit and traditional sophistication.
“Folk instruments like bamboo flute and moon lute help the song be both modern and imbued with Vietnamese identity,” DuongK said.
