Ca Mau promotes digital transformation in the 2025-2030 period

DNVN - On October 6, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province held a meeting of the Coordination Group to implement the cooperation agreement signed with FPT Corporation on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation for the period 2025-2030.

This is the next activity after the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province andFPT on September 17, 2025, with the goal of promoting digital transformation, developing science and technology, innovation and training high-quality human resources in the province.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the agreement, FPT will support Ca Mau province in developing resolutions, action programs and digital transformation plans for the 2026-2030 period, closely following the spirit of the Central resolutions and plans and in line with local realities. The Group will coordinate with departments and branches to concretize the goals into annual tasks and projects, focusing on the province's strengths such as: developing digital infrastructure, digital government, digital data, digital applications for people and businesses, and digital transformation in priority areas.

In addition, FPT will support training and fostering of “digital literacy” for commune and ward level officials; organize training courses to improve management and operational capacity for managers and resource officials of the province. At the same time, the group will participate in developing digital platforms, digital data, digital government, digital economy and digital society in Ca Mau.

On the provincial side, departments and branches will coordinate and create conditions for FPT Education to promote investment in the system of inter-level schools (Primary, Secondary, High School) and vocational training facilities (primary, secondary, college). This investment is expected to create a foundation for a modern education and training environment, attracting researchers, lecturers, students and information technology experts, promoting the development of science, technology, and innovation in Ca Mau.

Ca Mau province will also allocate capital from the state budget according to decentralization, while integrating related tasks and mobilizing other legal funding sources to effectively implement cooperation contents.
