Ca Mau: Mini gas tank exploded during a party at a death anniversary, many people were hospitalized

On June 22, the Thoi Binh District Medical Center, Ca Mau Province, said that the unit is treating many patients with burns due to a mini gas tank explosion that occurred in the area.

According to initial information, on June 18, Mr. DVT's family (residing in Hamlet 2, Ho Thi Ky Commune, Thoi Binh District) held a memorial service and invited everyone to have dinner with the family. After some people sat down at the table to enjoy the meal, the mini gas tank of the gas stove suddenly exploded. The incident burned 8 people at the table.

Immediately, the above people were taken to Thoi Binh District Medical Center for treatment. 1 patient was released after cleaning the wound because luckily he only suffered minor burns, the remaining 7 patients are being treated at Thoi Binh District Medical Center.

“The health of the patients is currently stable, but some still have burns and are being treated with antibiotics. They are expected to be discharged in the next few days,” a doctor from the Thoi Binh District Medical Center informed.
