Ca Mau: After reorganization, commune-level officials are supported with 500,000 - 1,820,000 VND/month

On the afternoon of September 22, at the 3rd session (special session), delegates of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, term X, unanimously passed a resolution to support cadres, civil servants, public employees, non-professional workers and workers working at the commune level after the rearrangement of administrative units in the province.

Delegates of the People's Council of Ca Mau province voted and approved resolutions submitted at the meeting.

Accordingly, cadres, civil servants, public employees, non-professional workers and workers whose home is 15km or more from their office are supported with travel expenses of VND 480,000/person/month; housing rental expenses of VND 840,000/person/month (in case the beneficiaries have been arranged for official housing or accommodation, they will not be supported with housing rental expenses), and living expenses of VND 500,000/person/month.

Officials, civil servants, public employees, part-time workers and workers whose home is less than 15km from their workplace will receive a monthly living expense support of VND500,000/person. The support period is from July 1 to December 31, 2025. It is expected that about 5,900 people will benefit from this policy, with a total cost of more than VND43 billion.

The subjects of support are cadres, civil servants, public employees, non-professional workers and employees who are receiving salaries and allowances from the state budget or from career revenue sources, and have decisions on mobilization, arrangement and assignment of work by competent authorities. Agencies, administrative units and public career units related to the arrangement, reception and payment of support policies.
