Cadres and members of Loc Ha Women's Union proposed many practical issues.

Participating in a dialogue with party leaders, cadres and women's union members in Loc Ha ( Ha Tinh ) expressed many opinions reflecting their thoughts on the remaining issues.

On the morning of October 11, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Loc Ha district Nguyen The Hoan and representatives of departments and branches organized a dialogue with 180 cadres and women's union members in the area.

Participating in the dialogue, cadres and members reflected on many real-life issues such as: the employment of a part of rural women is not guaranteed; the policy of supporting vocational training and job creation is mainly for poor members, with a rather narrow target; the regime of medical collaborators and grassroots population (often held by women's union cadres) in villages has been cut, causing disadvantages for those involved; some families have mothers who live far away and do not have the conditions to properly raise their children, so they easily fall into social evils; domestic violence and child abuse still occur.

Officials and members also reflected that due to many impacts, divorce is increasing, especially among young couples, causing bad consequences for children, families and society...

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Phu Luu Commune, Dang Thi Ngu, proposed increasing support for capital, breeds, knowledge, etc. to build economic models led by women.

At the dialogue conference, officials and women's union members of Loc Ha district made recommendations and proposals to higher authorities to have policies to attract large enterprises and projects to invest in the area to create jobs and income for people; increase support and encourage vocational training and job creation for women of working age.

There should be policies to develop organic production models led by women; create conditions for capital, seeds, and product output associated with job creation for local female workers; continue to implement reproductive health care programs for women, provide gender counseling for adolescent girls; promote the implementation of gender equality solutions...

Regarding cadres participating in women's unions, the suggestions are to create the best conditions for women to participate in social work in general and women's unions in particular to work, contribute, and demonstrate their capacity; increase the proportion of women participating in Party committees at all levels; there is a lack of qualified and dedicated cadres doing women's work in villages and hamlets; many capable people go to work far away or do not want to participate in activities, so they need to be encouraged and motivated more; there needs to be a policy to support the purchase of health insurance cards for village and hamlet women's union cadres...

Some opinions also discussed issues and areas that are still inadequate and directly affect women, such as: increasing support for the construction of sanitation and household wastewater drainage works; environmental sanitation and waste classification in some places are not good; lighting and electricity systems in many places are not guaranteed, causing general insecurity, including for women and children...

Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Loc Ha District Nguyen The Hoan received and discussed issues of concern and reflection from female cadres and members.

After receiving 35 opinions (20 opinions exchanged directly, 15 opinions in writing), Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Loc Ha district Nguyen The Hoan and relevant departments and branches received, informed and explained.

The chair of the dialogue also requested all levels, sectors, and the district Women's Union to continue to pay attention to implementing policies and regimes for union officials; taking care of and supporting members in production and business, ensuring the legitimate rights of members...

On this occasion, the leaders of Loc Ha district awarded certificates of merit to 24 officials and members with outstanding achievements in association work and gave gifts to 10 women in difficult circumstances.
