On the afternoon of September 3, Vietnam Airlines flight VN9213 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City took off from Noi Bai airport, bringing more than 360 soldiers back to their units after completing the important mission at the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 (mission A80).
One day after the parade, soldiers completed their mission on A80, leaving Noi Bai International Airport to return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Soldier Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy expressed: "Completing the A80 mission is a great honor and pride for me. I would like to thank Vietnam Airlines for accompanying me on my way back. After months of hard training at Mieu Mon, I look forward to every moment of being reunited with my family."
The flight was operated by a Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft, the symbol of Vietnam Airlines' new generation fleet.
