Can Tho City People's Committee requested the Director of the Department of Education and Training to have solutions to mobilize and contract with artisans, artists, professional athletes... to participate in educational activities in schools, and at the same time advise on a plan to teach 2 sessions/day.

On September 26, information from the People's Committee of Can Tho City said that the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City has just issued a directive on implementing the tasks of the 2025-2026 school year of the city's education and training sector.

Notably, the directive requires the Director of the Department of Education and Training to proactively review, arrange, regulate, and rotate teachers between educational institutions in the area to overcome the situation of local teacher surplus and shortage; have solutions to mobilize and contract artisans, artists, professional athletes, and foreign volunteers to participate in organizing educational activities in schools, especially in the fields of culture, arts, sports , and life skills for high school students; mobilize and contract qualified human resources with high vocational skills to participate in teaching vocational education training programs.

Can Tho City People's Committee also requested the Department of Education and Training to focus resources to ensure conditions to improve the quality of preschool and general education, including focusing on conditions to implement 2-session teaching/day starting from the 2025-2026 school year at general education institutions in the area.

Advise the City People's Committee to issue a plan to implement 2-session teaching/day in accordance with local conditions in the spirit of "6 clear" (clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time and clear results).

Promote socialization, encourage and create conditions for organizations and individuals to contribute and invest resources in education to support the organization of appropriate educational activities, especially teaching 2 sessions/day for general education to ensure quality, efficiency, publicity, transparency...
