U.23 Vietnam welcomes new player Nguyen Vadim
U.23 Vietnam will gather again from October 4 in Hanoi , parallel with the Vietnam national team (gathering in Ho Chi Minh City) during FIFA Days in October 2025, notably with the presence of new player Nguyen Vadim from Da Nang Club.
Born in 2005 in Russia, Vadim has a Vietnamese father and a Russian mother. He is a new player of Da Nang Club at the beginning of the 2025 - 2026 V-League season, has played 3 times for the Han River team and left a good impression.
At the age of 20, this 1.75 m tall player is considered quite versatile, able to play well in both the winger and central midfielder positions. With his presence, U.23 Vietnam currently has three overseas Vietnamese players including Tran Thanh Trung, Le Viktor and Nguyen Vadim.

The U.23 Vietnam team gathering at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center is part of a plan that was built very early by the VFF to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games and the 2026 AFC U.23 Championship.
In the list of 3rd training session 2025, there are many notable faces continuing to appear such as Pham Ly Duc, Le Van Thuan, Nguyen Van Truong, Nguyen Ngoc My who left their mark in the recent U.23 Asia qualifying round.
Quality training session
As head coach Kim Sang-sik is leading the Vietnamese team to prepare for two matches against Nepal in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, the training and management of the U.23 Vietnam team's training activities continue to be assigned to acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh.

According to plan, the Vietnam U.23 team will practice at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center until October 7, then go to the UAE for training.
Here, the team will have two friendly matches with the Qatar U.23 team, which are considered to be of very high quality, on October 9 and October 13 respectively, thereby continuing to perfect the squad.
This is an important stage for U.23 Vietnam to practice tactics and accumulate experience for the immediate goal of SEA Games 33 in December in Thailand and then the U23 Asian Cup in January 2026 in Saudi Arabia.
