Jiuzhaigou is a world- famous nature reserve and national park located in northern Sichuan province, in the Minshan Mountains, about 330km from Chengdu city.
The name Jiuzhaigou means “Valley of Nine Villages”, closely associated with the life of the Tibetan community that has lived here for hundreds of years. To get to Jiuzhaigou, you can choose:

- Bus or tour: From Chengdu, there are many direct buses to Jiuzhaigou, which take about 8–10 hours. This is the economical option but takes longer.
