Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway: Determined to finish 8 months early

(QNgTV)- The rainy and stormy season is approaching, the consortium of contractors, headed by Deo Ca Group, has come up with a suitable construction plan, taking advantage of sunny days to speed up construction progress, determined to complete the project, shortening the progress by 8 months compared to the proposed plan.

Contractors focus on asphalt paving the final sections of the route.

The Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway is 88km long, with a total investment of more than 20.4 trillion VND, passing through Quang Ngai province (60.3km) and Gia Lai province (27.7km). This is the largest project among 12 component projects of the North - South expressway in the east, phase 2021 - 2025. On the route, there are 3 tunnels through the mountains, 77 bridges, 586 culverts, and 81 underpasses.

According to Deo Ca Group, the project has so far completed 83% of the total volume. Currently, contractors are focusing all their efforts on construction to ensure the goal of completing the project before December 31, 2025, 8 months ahead of the original schedule.

When completed, the expressway will not only help reduce pressure on National Highway 1 and shorten travel time, but also open up opportunities for economic and social development in the South Central region, especially Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces. This will be an important "push" for transport infrastructure, regional connectivity and effective investment attraction in the coming years.
