Environmental licensing for 722-house residential project

On June 30, the Department of Agriculture and Environment issued a document granting an environmental license to Mien Dong Joint Stock Company to carry out environmental protection activities of the Project to build technical infrastructure for residential area in Quarter 3, Long Hung Ward.

The project has an area of ​​over 139,600 m2, belongs to group C classified according to the criteria of the law on public investment and group III classified according to environmental criteria.

Licensed technical works include: residential area of ​​over 139,600 m2, of which residential land area is about 77,500 m2, including 722 houses (types: townhouses, garden townhouses, villas, resettlement houses); other traffic and technical infrastructure works; wastewater treatment system.

The content of environmental licensing and accompanying environmental protection requirements is permission to discharge wastewater into the environment; implementation of environmental protection requirements for dust and exhaust gas; ensuring limit values ​​for noise and vibration; waste management, prevention and response to environmental incidents... according to the accompanying plan.

The license requires that Mien Dong Joint Stock Company is only allowed to carry out the licensed contents after completing the corresponding environmental protection works. Regularly operate waste treatment works in accordance with the process; take measures to minimize noise and vibration; manage waste according to the provisions of law. Be responsible before the law when pollutants, noise, vibration do not meet the requirements of the granted license and must immediately stop discharging wastewater, dust, exhaust gas, generating noise and vibration to implement remedial measures.

The license is valid for 10 years, from June 30, 2025.
