With a duration of about 1 hour and 20 minutes, “Take Off” has diverse themes: career stories, silent dedication, desire for innovation… Each month, the themes are clearly defined: “Living with history” (April), “Remaining in the months and years” (May), “Going beyond the currents” (June), “Living in the midst of peace ” (July)… In each theme, the program brings viewers the stories of 3 to 4 characters; vividly expressed through reports and sharing of the characters in the studio with accompanying guests.

With the motto of inspiring positive and responsible living, each character appearing in "Take Off" brings ordinary yet extraordinary stories, aiming at truth - goodness - beauty, arousing the national spirit and the will to rise up. Typically, "Take Off" in July tells the story of Mr. Lam Van Bang - a veteran, former prisoner of Phu Quoc, and founder of the Museum of Revolutionary Soldiers who were imprisoned by the enemy. The museum has been operating since 2004, preserving 6,000 artifacts that Mr. Lam Van Bang collected and preserved throughout the country. Each artifact has a story, a name attached to it, and is evidence of a time of struggle with many losses and sacrifices of our army and people for freedom and independence for the country. Among them, many artifacts belong to Mr. Lam Van Bang's fallen comrades. The museum has been open regularly, free of charge for over 20 years.

Not only bringing a beautiful image of war veterans, "Living in Peace" of "Take Off" in July also depicts people living in peacetime, always grateful for the sacrifices of their ancestors who died for the country's independence. Mr. Lam Hong Tien and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang both have the same goal of contributing to bringing martyrs back to their homeland. Over the past 20 years, they have gradually compiled information, connected with units, supported the search and brought nearly 600 martyrs back to their homeland and families.

The attraction of “Take Off” is real people and real events in everyday life. For example, the stories in “The Power of Change” in August. That is the journey full of determination of student Do Thi Hang, orphaned at the age of 1 and living alone since the age of 13, overcoming all difficulties to go to school, winning a scholarship of nearly 1 billion VND for 4 years of university. Or the story of architect Nguyen Bui Vu reviving old heritages through the reconstruction of the Trade Union Printing Factory ( Hanoi ) into a unique cultural complex Complex 01. This place is currently a multifunctional cultural space serving the community with many amenities and experiences: library, pottery workshop... attracting many young people and families.

The stories in “Take Off” show that, despite the busyness of life, there are still many people quietly striving for their dreams and desires to help life, people, and the community.
