Special art program "Songs for the Party"

Meritorious Artist Pham The Vi led the choir to perform the song "Praise to President Ho" by musician Van Cao.

The program was grandly staged, with excellent performances.

The program is directed by the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, chaired by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, coordinated with relevant units, and broadcast live on the television channels of Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television.

City leaders, delegates and a large crowd attended the program.

Attending the program were Mr. Dong Van Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Can Tho City ; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Can Tho City; Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee...

Many meaningful performances in "Songs for the Party".

Singer Hoang Nghiep made an impression with the song "Party Flag" by musician Van An.

Children performed a song and dance medley "I walk in the fresh green - I am the young shoot of the Party".

The program “Songs for the Party” began with a performance of drums, lion dances and the song and dance set “Bustling homeland festival”. Following that, the artists and singers brought performances praising the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam , the great President Ho Chi Minh, and performances showing the beauty, development and integration of Can Tho City in the era of the country’s rise.

Meritorious Artist Hoang Khanh and Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh perform the traditional song "My Homeland Vietnam" (composer: Do Nhuan, lyrics: Do Thi Hoai Xuan).

The program also screened a video clip reporting the results of the 1st Congress of Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2025-2030. Thereby, spreading confidence and excitement to all classes of people about a dynamic Can Tho City, affirming its position as a central city and driving force for development of the entire Mekong Delta region.

Artists from Can Tho City Culture and Arts Center in the folk song medley "Celebrating the success of the Congress", composed by composer Nham Hung.

The program was elaborately and artistically staged, attracting a large audience, with the participation of Meritorious Artist Pham The Vi, Meritorious Artist Hoang Khanh, Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh, singer Hoang Nghiep, Can Tho City Cultural and Art Center... and art units in the city.
