Unique glass bridge winding through the clouds in China

Zhejiang is one of the richest provinces in China and is a famous tourist province with the beautiful mountains and rivers of the Jiangnan region. Recently, another unique construction in Zhejiang has attracted the attention of the Chinese online community because of its unique design that seems to be just a product of artificial intelligence.

That is the Nhu Y glass bridge, "suspended" between two cliffs at a height of 140 m at the Than Tien Cu scenic area in Thai Chau city.

The bridge was inaugurated in 2017 and opened to local tourists in 2020. The entire structure is made up of three intertwined wavy bridge decks, resembling three waves intersecting in a canyon.

Most of the bridge surface is designed with transparent tempered glass, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the view of Than Tien Cu valley and feel like they are walking between a rainbow in the sky.

Standing on the bridge, visitors can see majestic mountains, covered with clouds, green trees, truly feeling like a fairyland. When looking down at the foot, only see vertical cliffs, like bottomless abysses, creating excitement for those who love strong feelings.

The designer of this unique glass bridge is Ha Van Xuong - a steel structure expert who participated in the design of the Bird's Nest Stadium, where the 2008 Beijing Olympics took place.

The construction of the bridge was difficult due to the terrain and weather conditions in the area. The construction team had to face strong winds, heavy rains and landslides. However, they overcame these difficulties and completed the bridge on time.
