The newly opened buckwheat flower garden in Tam Ky city ( Quang Nam ) attracts hundreds of visitors every day.

In recent days, Ca Ban flower village, Tam Ngoc commune (Tam Ky city) has attracted many young people and tourists to check in. The flower garden is 1,500 square meters wide, with 3 main flower species: buckwheat, star apple and sunflower.

The model of growing buckwheat flowers for tourism in Ca Ban eco-village was implemented by Master Trieu Thy Hoa (lecturer of Quang Nam University), part of the project to develop the agricultural economy of Tam Ky city in the period of 2022 - 2025.

Ms. Trieu Thy Hoa brought buckwheat seeds from Ha Giang to Quang Nam to plant from January 2024. In addition to buckwheat flowers, she also grows sunflowers and cosmos to serve community tourism and tourists.

This place has become a new tourist attraction of Tam Ky city, attracting hundreds of visitors every day.

Ms. Vo Thi Tinh (35 years old, in Hoa Thuan Ward, Tam Ky City) and her friends learned about the buckwheat flower garden through information and pictures on Facebook. She hired a photographer to capture the moments with the buckwheat flowers in full bloom. "This flower species is successfully grown in Quang Nam, which surprised me quite a bit. I also rented a set of clothes from the ethnic minorities in the Northwest mountains. Coming to the buckwheat flower garden, I felt like I was lost in Ha Giang," Ms. Tinh said.
