The Party Cell of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions has 28 party members, accounting for nearly 83% of the total number of civil servants and employees in the agency. In the 2020 - 2025 term, the Department advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents on guidance, direction and organization of the implementation of national target programs; promulgated the Regulation on coordination of state management of beliefs and religions. Advised the Provincial People's Council to issue a Resolution stipulating support policies and regimes for key religious movements in the province for the period 2024 - 2028; successfully organized the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities at district and provincial levels; directed districts and cities to effectively implement ethnic programs and policies, promote local socio-economic development, contribute to poverty reduction, and stabilize the lives of ethnic minorities in the area. Organize training courses to improve capacity for grassroots cadres and the community; Disseminate the law to prestigious people and ethnic minorities, reduce early marriage and incestuous marriage.

During the term, the Party Committee focused on leading and organizing the implementation of 8/9 targets and tasks. Specifically, 100% of party members, civil servants and workers studied and well implemented the Party's directives and resolutions, policies and laws of the State; 100% of party members, civil servants and workers developed action programs to implement resolutions of the Party cell and superiors; 1 collective and 1 individual were commended for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
