Twin sisters Nguyen Thi Lan Huong and Nguyen Thi Thuy Huong, 18 years old, from the suburbs of Hanoi, both enrolled in the military medical program of the Military Medical Academy on September 8.
This year, the Academy has 182 students admitted, of which 14 candidates achieved the absolute admission score of 30/30.
Huong registered for admission to the school with her high school graduation exam scores, including 9 in Math, 10 in Physics, 10 in Chemistry, and received additional points thanks to her second prize in Hanoi 's excellent Math student category. Huong was considered based on her HSA test score. With 119/150 HSA points and second prize in the city's excellent Chemistry student category, she was converted to a 30-point scale and also achieved absolute success.
The Military Medical Academy said this is the first time in history that twins have been admitted with perfect scores. Their older brother, Nguyen Doan Bieu, is also in his fifth year of studying medicine at the school.
"We are happy to set foot in the Military Medical Academy gate together," Huong said.

Huong and Huong are former students of Quoc Oai High School, Hanoi. Right from high school, both of them decided to choose the Military Medical Academy as their university destination.
"The image of my brother in military uniform, the interesting stories about life, discipline, and daily study at the academy that he experienced and felt have awakened our love for this school," Huong said.
Having determined the goal, both of them made a specific study plan, allocating time equally for the three subjects in the A00 group (Math, Physics, Chemistry), focusing on practicing questions and practicing thinking skills.
"We maintain discipline, perseverance, study every day instead of concentrating on a short period of time, and at the same time keep our spirits relaxed," Huong said.
To study in the military environment, both also focus on regular activities and daily exercise. The two sisters are therefore confident when entering the period of high-intensity military and political training, before starting 6 years of specialized study.
Taking his children to school, Mr. Nguyen Doan Hung, father of Huong and Huong, showed his excitement.
"Having three children studying at the Military Medical Academy is the pride of the whole family," he said. "I believe that my children will receive the best training in this environment."
Besides Huong, Huong and the eldest son studying at the Military Medical Academy, Mr. Hung's second daughter is currently studying at the University of Education, Thai Nguyen University.

Huong said the two sisters clearly determined that the journey of studying and training at the Military Medical Academy would have many challenges, not only in terms of academics but also in terms of military discipline and conduct. However, both were mentally prepared to adapt.
"We hope to become military doctors with good expertise, steadfastness and readiness to serve the Fatherland," Huong said.
