Deposit Insurance of Vietnam Branch in the Northwest region deploys tasks for 2025

On January 8, the Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV) Branch in the Northwest region held a conference to review 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BHTGVN awarded Certificates of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam to 1 collective and 6 individuals.

In 2024, the Northwest Branch of the Vietnam Deposit Insurance Corporation completed its assigned goals, tasks and plans ahead of schedule. Proactively and synchronously deploying solutions to protect the legitimate rights and interests of depositors, contributing to maintaining the stability of deposit insurance participating organizations and ensuring the safety and soundness of the banking system. Strictly implementing the instructions of the Vietnam Deposit Insurance Corporation in all areas of the Branch's operations, correctly implementing the business processes and regulations of the Vietnam Deposit Insurance Corporation; assigning labor reasonably and flexibly; implementing work according to plan. Tightening discipline, discipline, working style, raising sense of responsibility and professional ethics.

The branch supervised and urged 100% of People's Credit Funds (PCFs) under its management to pay fees in accordance with regulations, with a total fee collection of over VND 23 billion, an increase of 12.93% compared to 2023.

By the end of October 2024, the Branch had completed inspections at 24/24 QTDNDs, including 7/7 QTDNDs as required by the State Bank (100%) before the prescribed deadline. All inspections ensured accuracy, honesty, objectivity and had the consensus of all inspected units; were recognized and highly appreciated by the State Bank of Vietnam branches in the provinces, local Party committees and authorities.

The Branch's activities contribute to the sustainable development of BHTGVN, strengthen public confidence, protect the legitimate rights and interests of depositors, contribute to maintaining the stability of the credit institution system; ensure the safe and healthy development of banking activities.

In 2025, the BHTGVN Branch in the Northwest region will continue to strengthen its management and administration, ensuring that the assigned business areas are implemented in a specific manner, implemented according to plan and have timely direction and management. At the same time, promote scientific research and technology application to support professional work. Timely implement the directions of BHTGVN.

On this occasion, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 6 individuals. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of BHTGVN awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives achieving the title of Excellent Labor Collective and 7 individuals achieving the title of Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level.

On this occasion, the Northwest Region Branch of Vietnam Social Insurance launched an emulation movement with the theme "Overcoming difficulties, firmly self-reliant, competing to excellently complete tasks in 2025".
