Officially launching the "Make in VietNam 2024 Digital Technology Product Award"

This is a prestigious award in the field of information technology and communications of the Ministry of Information and Communications annually for organizations with outstanding digital technology products researched, designed, created, and manufactured in Vietnam. The activity also aims to concretize Directive 01/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister dated January 14, 2020 on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.

In 2024, there will be 8 award categories, including 5 new categories for digital technology products (CNS) serving digital transformation and digital economic development in industries and fields (replacing 3 categories in 2023: Digital Government, digital economy and digital society).

The 5 new categories include:

- Excellent CNS products in the industrial and construction fields

- Excellent CNS products in the fields of agriculture , resources and environment.

- Excellent CNS products in the field of transportation, postal and logistics

- Excellent CNS products in the fields of education, health, culture and society.

- Excellent CNS products in the fields of finance, banking, trade and services.

Add the category of outstanding new CNS products to search for and honor outstanding new CNS products such as: AI, Bigdata, IoT, semiconductors.

Continue to maintain 2 categories in 2023: excellent CNS products for foreign markets and potential CNS products.

The 2024 Award participants also have some changes such as:

- For potential CNS product categories: only applicable to micro, small enterprises or innovative start-up enterprises established under Vietnamese law (foreign-invested enterprises must have Vietnamese ownership of at least 51% of total shares).

- For the category of excellent CNS production for foreign markets: in addition to domestic enterprises with Vietnamese people holding controlling shares, the subject is added to be enterprises established abroad but with Vietnamese people owning at least 51% of total shares.

Each category will have Gold, Silver, Bronze and Top 10 awards. CNS products, solutions and services that win Gold, Silver and Bronze awards will receive cups and certificates of achievement. Top 10 participants will receive award certificates.

The time for receiving registration and documents is from August 28 to October 22. During the period from August 28 to September 21, businesses can make preliminary registration and receive guidance from the award's standing agency to prepare documents according to the regulations.

The form for submitting documents online at the award information portal: giaithuong.makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn. The award ceremony will be held in December 2024.
