Dimensity 9400+ chip will be launched on April 11?

MediaTek just launched the Dimensity 9400 chip not long ago, but recently, sources said that its improved version is being researched. The new chip called Dimensity 9400+ has extremely powerful performance.

Leaker Digital Chat Station revealed: the main Cortex-X925 core of the Dimensity 9400+ chip will be overclocked to 3.7 GHz, up from 3.62 GHz on the standard Dimensity 9400.

These are just some minor spec bumps, but they're seen as MediaTek's answer to the overclocked version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

This leaker also said that Oppo will launch three flagship models in the first half of this year with screen sizes of 6.3 inches, 6.6 inches and 6.8 inches respectively, all 3 models will use the Dimensity 9400+ chip.

The source also said that Vivo will soon launch more devices using the new chip, likely starting with the X200s. This is a phone expected to have a 1.5K display and a quality 50MP triple camera setup, including a telephoto lens that supports macro. The phone is also said to offer wireless charging and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Although the release date has not been revealed, it is likely that the phone will be launched next April.
