Samsung has announced an expansion of its partnership with Toyota to install Smart Signage solutions at more car dealerships worldwide , following success in key markets.
Previously, in early 2025, Samsung completed the digital transformation process for 1,250 Toyota dealers in 40 European countries, deploying more than 23,000 Smart Signage screens at dealers in Europe, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). This is considered one of Samsung's largest commercial signage projects ever. Thanks to strong steps, in the second quarter of 2025, Samsung achieved 38.8% of the global market share in digital signage, maintaining its leading position for 17 consecutive years.
A more interactive and efficient car buying experience
The Smart Signage displays installed at Toyota dealerships include a variety of modern product lines such as touch screens, indoor LED screens, QMC series and 4K UHD screens from 43 to 98 inches. With a uniform bezel design, the ability to rotate vertically or horizontally, anti-glare panels and EPEAT Silver certification, these displays provide a sharp, intuitive experience.
In particular, the entire system is integrated with MagicINFO technology, allowing Toyota to manage hardware and software remotely, minimizing disruption and improving operational efficiency. As a result, customers can easily browse vehicle models, view specifications, consult incentives or customize vehicle configurations according to individual needs. Increased interactivity helps sales teams move from traditional introductions to providing personalized experiences, contributing to increased satisfaction and driving sales.
Commitment from Samsung and Toyota
“The digitalization of automotive dealerships is accelerating globally, and digital signage is a key element of this change,” said Hoon Chung, Vice President and Head of Enterprise Business at Samsung. “We are proud to offer solutions that enhance the car-buying experience, while continuing to develop technology that meets the diverse needs of each market.”
Meanwhile, Dirk Christiaens, Toyota's Director of Business Transformation and Brand Experience, said the integration of Samsung's digital displays has brought real value to the car buying journey. MagicINFO technology supports real-time remote management, helping Toyota deliver accurate, timely information and significantly increase customer engagement.
A step forward in the digitalization trend of the automotive industry
The partnership between Samsung and Toyota is expected to continue to expand in many other key markets, helping to redefine the global car buying experience. By combining advanced display technology and intelligent management services, Samsung will not only help Toyota sell more cars, but also contribute to shaping the future trend of digitalization of the automotive retail industry.
