Removing Quang Linh Vlogs from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

The decision was issued on the evening of April 4, a few hours after the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency executed an arrest warrant and searched Quang Linh Vlogs' residence.

Quang Linh (member of the Board of Directors), Nguyen Thi Thai Hang (also known as Hang Du Muc, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company) and three others were arrested to investigate the crime of Producing fake food products and Deceiving customers , according to Articles 193 and 198 of the Penal Code.

The announcement of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said the decision to remove Mr. Pham Quang Linh from the membership was based on Article 20 and Article 33 of the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

According to the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, members who violate the provisions of the Charter and the law will be reprimanded, warned, or dismissed from membership of the Front, depending on the severity of the violation. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at each level considers and decides on disciplinary measures for members at its level; at the Central level, the Presidium considers and decides.

Mr. Pham Quang Linh - founder of "Quang Linh Vlogs - African Life", was elected as one of 397 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in October 2024. "This is a great honor that I never thought of. I will try harder to do good social work, support the community, and build the image of Vietnam abroad so as not to disappoint people's trust," Mr. Linh said at that time.

Pham Quang Linh is 27 years old, from Nghi Loc, Nghe An province. In 2016, after finishing high school, Linh went to Angola, a country in central Africa, to work as a construction worker as an export laborer. Linh's YouTube channel with videos about life and volunteer activities in Africa received millions of views.
