Chu Puh supports the construction of nearly 100 "Great Unity" houses | Gia Lai Electronic Newspaper

(GLO)- The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chu Puh district ( Gia Lai province) has just held a conference to summarize 20 years of organizing the National Great Unity Day for the period 2003-2023.

• Over the past 20 years, under the direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in Chu Puh district has coordinated, guided and had 100% of residential areas in the district organize the annual Great Unity Day to review the glorious history and tradition of the Vietnam National United Front; evaluate the results and commend collectives and individuals who have actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front at all levels. At the same time, promote propaganda and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and organize households to sign and register for emulation... Thereby, gradually consolidate, strengthen and gather the great unity of the people, contributing with the locality to successfully carry out the tasks of socio -economic development and ensure social order and safety.

In addition, in the past time, the Fund for the Poor at all levels in the district has mobilized the support of collectives, individuals, businesses and philanthropists to support the construction of nearly 100 new "Great Unity" houses and presented over 100,000 gifts to poor and near-poor households. Every year, there are 13,985/17,476 cultural families (accounting for 80.02%); 67/74 cultural villages (accounting for 90.5%); 90/98 agencies and units have met cultural standards; up to now, the poverty rate is 11.99%. The whole district has 6/8 communes meeting new rural standards and 7/53 ethnic minority villages meeting new rural standards according to Directive No. 12-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
