Gia Lai Provincial Chairman awarded certificates of merit to 2 U23 Vietnam players

Two U23 Vietnam players of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for their contributions to the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship.

On August 1, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, signed a decision to award certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 2 players of the Vietnam U23 team.

Accordingly, the two players who received certificates of merit from the Gia Lai province chairman are Pham Ly Duc and Tran Trung Kien, both of whom are on the payroll of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Football Club.

Two players were awarded for their excellent performance in training and competition, winning gold medals at the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Football Championship.

These are 2 of the players in the Vietnam U23 team participating in the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Football Championship.

In this tournament, Pham Ly Duc and Tran Trung Kien both played important roles when they started all matches.

In the final match on the night of July 29, U23 Vietnam won the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship after a 1-0 victory over host Indonesia in the away final.

After this victory, the U23 Vietnam team was awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister. In addition, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also held a meeting to commend and reward the team as soon as the team returned home.
