Here, the working delegation listened to relevant units' summary reports on the project, progress of technical infrastructure investment in Tan Duc Industrial Park, Son My 1 Industrial Park, Son My 2 Industrial Park phase 1 in Tan Minh and Son My communes, Lam Dong province; at the same time, information on some difficulties in the implementation process and directions and tasks in the coming time.

Tan Duc Industrial Park project has an area of 300 hectares and a total registered capital of 1,200 billion VND. The investor started construction in May 2024 and implemented construction of project items according to the granted license.
Up to now, the project has basically completed 90% of the volume of phase 1 items, currently attracting 1 secondary project (with registered capital of 100 billion VND) and signed land lease agreements with 7 other projects (total registered capital of 1,600 billion VND); at the same time, coordinating with the local electricity industry to invest in a 22 kV power grid to serve the industrial park...


Son My 1 Industrial Park with an area of 1,070 hectares and a total registered capital of VND 2,300 billion also started construction at the end of August 2022. Currently, there are 3 projects approved by competent authorities with registered investment capital of USD 5.4 billion (including: Son My LNG Port Warehouse, Son My I BOT Thermal Power Plant, Son My II Thermal Power Plant).
However, up to now, the Son My 1 Industrial Park Project has not yet been implemented due to problems with procedures for exemption of land rent to hand over the site according to regulations and site clearance work.

Particularly, the Son My 2 Industrial Park project - phase 1 has an area of 468.35 hectares and a registered capital of nearly 1,720 billion VND, and is currently implementing site clearance. However, the work of land acquisition, compensation, and selection of a consulting unit for land price construction is still slow...
Therefore, in the coming time, the locality will direct functional departments to coordinate with the Regional Land Fund Development Center to implement compensation and site clearance for industrial parks according to plan...

After inspecting the site and listening to reports from relevant units, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said: This survey trip includes departments and branches in many fields to promptly grasp information, coordinate with local authorities to remove difficulties and obstacles, especially in compensation, site clearance, determining specific land prices, and approving compensation plans for affected cases.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies and units to implement the work in days to contribute to promoting the progress of the industrial park project in the area. At the same time, he requested relevant departments and units in the coming time to actively accompany and coordinate to remove difficulties and obstacles for investors of industrial park infrastructure.

For investors, it is necessary to demonstrate responsibility and mobilize resources to speed up the progress of industrial park infrastructure implementation. Monitor and create conditions for potential investors to implement secondary projects to come into operation soon, thereby creating jobs for workers and contributing to increasing local budget revenue.
