The Criteria set inherits traditional Vietnamese values such as honesty , loyalty, thrift, integrity, impartiality, and approaches international standards such as ISO 26000, ESG - a set of standards for evaluating sustainable development and socially responsible enterprises. "This is a "soft power" strategy to enhance the reputation of the national brand", he emphasized.
The 2025 Criteria are shortened from 33 to 25 criteria, divided into 5 groups, applying a hierarchical assessment system (basic - progressive - leading), suitable for both small and medium enterprises, while encouraging large corporations to become models of business culture.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Loan, member of the Association's Executive Committee, said that the Criteria set added a number of new prohibitions such as "commercial fraud, false advertising" and "environmental destruction". This is considered a step forward demonstrating the importance of transparency, protecting consumer rights and a strong commitment to sustainable development.
Enterprises that achieve the title of “ Meeting Vietnamese Business Culture Standards” not only affirm their prestige and brand but are also recognized by the community and state management agencies. This title will be awarded at the National Forum on Culture with Enterprises 2025, scheduled to be held on December 22, becoming a source of pride and advantage for enterprises to improve their competitiveness, attract high-quality human resources and expand international cooperation.
