Carefully prepare activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

On the afternoon of October 24, in Hanoi, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army chaired a conference to review the preparation and organization of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, and the 80th anniversary of the General Department of Politics, organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet suggested continuing to review, supplement, speed up progress, and concretize each identified work content to ensure comprehensiveness and widespread coverage throughout the entire army and the entire country, creating an impression and widespread influence, properly demonstrating the stature and significance of the event, and organizing practical and meaningful activities.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet noted that agencies and units need to be more active and proactive in preparing commemorative activities and well organizing the scientific workshop "General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army - 80 years of steadfast steps under the Party's flag"; step up propaganda before, during and after the commemoration on mass media; coordinate to review and supplement the overall content of assigned work, ensuring the preparation and organization of successful activities.
