Art program "Flowers bloom after the rain" raises funds to support the people of Cao Bang province

On the evening of October 20, at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi), the art program "Flowers bloom after the rain" to raise funds to support people in Cao Bang province to overcome the consequences of two storms No. 10 and 11 took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere. The program was organized by Ho Guom Theater in coordination with Bao Linh An Viettimes Media Trading and Service Company Limited, under the direction of the Department of Political Work (Ministry of Public Security), responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province.

Attending the program were comrades: Nong Thi Ha, Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security , Director of Ho Guom Theater; Vu Chi Hoa, Deputy Head of the Social Work Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Vu Khac Quang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province, along with representatives of central and local ministries, branches, agencies, businesses, philanthropists and a large audience in the capital.

At the beginning of the program, delegates and the audience watched a short video titled "Cao Bang after the storm - steadfast in hardship" with touching images of the borderland that had just been hit by natural disasters, with collapsed roofs, muddy roads, washed away schools... but interspersed with them were images of resilient people in storms and floods, police officers, soldiers, union members, and volunteers quietly helping people overcome the consequences, demonstrating the spirit of "the strong helping the weak" of the Vietnamese people.

Each performance in the music night was like a flower blooming in the midst of hardship, conveying people's faith and determination to rise up after the flood.

Next, the art program included 15 music and dance performances by many famous artists, including: Diva Hong Nhung, Meritorious Artist Phuong Anh, singer Anh Tho, Trong Tan, Quach Mai Thy, Ha Myo, Gemma Nguyen, MTV band, Sol dance group, Suong Mai Art Club... All participated with the spirit of volunteering, dedication and companionship. The performances were elaborately staged, combining sound, light and modern stage effects, bringing a touching and sincere artistic experience. Interwoven between the performances were informative images about the damage caused by storms in Cao Bang , helping the audience understand more deeply the losses of people in the mountainous border areas. Each performance in the music night was like a flower blooming in the midst of hardship, conveying the belief and determination of the people of Cao Bang to rise up after the floods.

Comrade Vu Khac Quang, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province, received 2 billion VND in support from the Tam Long Viet Fund, Vietnam Television.

At the program, the Organizing Committee received the Tam Long Viet Fund, Vietnam Television donated 2 billion VND, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association donated 200 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee conducted an auction of items donated by benefactors to raise funds to support the people in the flood-hit areas of Cao Bang. These were the Tinh zither, a cultural symbol of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups; a traditional ao dai designed by designer Vu Thao Giang; and a painting by artist Hoang A Sang. The activity attracted many benefactors to participate, raising nearly 200 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Vu Khac Quang, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, expressed his deep gratitude to the agencies, units, artists and people across the country who have turned to Cao Bang with their kind hearts. It is this sentiment that will give Cao Bang more strength to stand up after the storm and flood. He affirmed that all the donations received from the program will be used for the right purpose, publicly, transparently and effectively, to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, repairing houses, schools, medical stations, and gradually restoring and rebuilding production, stabilizing people's lives.

At the end of the program, all artists, delegates and audiences joined together to sing the song "Joining Hands", concluding an artistic night imbued with human spirit, full of love, spreading the message of faith, revival and the strength of community solidarity.
