Digital transformation is the key to success for Ha Tinh Cooperative, why do you say so?

Ha Tinh province currently has 975 cooperatives, 2,538 cooperative groups and 3 cooperative unions, with more than 107,000 members. Cooperatives operate in multiple industries, in 6 main areas including: Agriculture , industry, handicrafts, trade and services, construction, transportation, environment, people's credit funds and other services.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung - Chairman of the Cooperative Union of Ha Tinh province, said: "In the current context, the application of information technology and digital transformation is no longer a trend but has become a mandatory direction. Facing this trend, the Cooperative Union of Ha Tinh province has increased the application of information technology in implementing trade promotion activities and product consumption for cooperatives.

The positive impact of applying digital technology to trade promotion is expected to help cooperatives reach further into the world market, cut costs while still ensuring the effectiveness of trade promotion activities."

"The Provincial Cooperative Union organizes the forum, hoping to share and connect with other provinces in consuming products for cooperatives and cooperative groups in the digital age. We hope to help many cooperative products reach further into markets outside the province," Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung - Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Cooperative Union, emphasized.

Participating in the forum, the Cooperative Union of provinces and cities, representatives of departments and branches in the province and many cooperatives and cooperative groups shared experiences in trade promotion activities, especially promoting and consuming products on digital platforms.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh - Vice President of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance highly appreciated Ha Tinh Cooperative Alliance for proactively implementing program 503 in supporting and guiding cooperatives to participate in many traditional and modern trade promotion activities, creating conditions for cooperatives in the province to exchange, connect and cooperate in product consumption.

In addition, the organization diversifies trade promotion activities; regularly has programs connecting information on trade promotion on digital platforms; supports cooperatives in increasing the application of high technology in production and product processing, especially applying digital transformation in production and business for cooperatives.

At the forum, the Ha Tinh Cooperative Alliance signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in connecting product consumption with the cooperative alliances of 14 provinces and cities across the country. In addition, 3 cooperatives in Ha Tinh signed memorandums of understanding on cooperation with 5 cooperatives in other provinces and cities.
