The world's longest cruise ship arrives in Ho Chi Minh City and is preparing to set sail.

The cruise lasted 274 days and nights, passing through every continent, including a stop in Ho Chi Minh City, preparing to set sail at the end of this year.

More surprisingly, the cruise sells tickets for up to 300,000 USD per person, equivalent to over 7.5 billion VND; the lowest price is about 1.5 billion VND.

This is what life is like for guests on Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas, which will sail for the first time from December 2023 to September 2024, spending 274 nights—nearly 10 months—at sea.

Visiting all seven continents, more than 60 countries and around 150 ports, this cruise is unlike any other on the planet and is scheduled to set sail again in December 2025, following the same itinerary as last year. The ship serves as a home away from home for around 2,100 passengers and 860 crew members. During the voyage, those on board can sip a hot cup of coffee while gliding past icebergs, or enjoy an ice-cold glass of wine while admiring the breathtaking beauty of the picturesque Greek islands.

The round- the-world cruise departed from Miami, USA last year and visited every continent, giving passengers the chance to explore New York, Rio de Janeiro, Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, the Greek islands, Lisbon and even Reykjavik in Iceland.

For those who can’t commit to the full 10 months, there are leg-by-leg options. Each leg lasts over 60 nights and explores your chosen corner of the globe. These are: Around the Americas, Around Asia- Pacific , Around the Middle East and Mediterranean, Around Europe.

Prices for Royal Caribbean round-the-world cruises vary depending on your budget and the type of room you want. Deluxe rooms typically start at around $59,999 per person. Ocean view rooms start at around $64,999, while balcony rooms typically start at around $83,000 per person.

For those wanting more luxury, Junior Suites start at $118,000 per person, with larger or more exclusive rooms going for more than $300,000.

However, these figures only include the cost of the cruise. Taxes, fees, and additional port charges will add up to about $4,700 per person.
