When will the rain in Hanoi stop?
The question many people are interested in right now is, when will the rain in Hanoi stop, when will the rain in the North stop?
Specifically, speaking to the press at noon on September 11, Mr. Mai Van Khiem, Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, said that from last night to this morning, rain continued to occur in the midland mountainous region of the North, but the amount of rain had decreased compared to the previous 2 days. Particularly this morning, rain was concentrated in the Northern Delta, the Northeast and extended to the North Central region.
"The rain will continue until tomorrow, mainly in the Northern Delta and North Central regions. After tomorrow, the rain will decrease. However, people need to be cautious because the flood situation is still complicated," said Mr. Khiem.
According to Mr. Khiem, due to the heavy rains over the past few days, the amount of water flowing into the lakes has increased. For example, from Thac Ba Lake, from last night to this morning, the flow into the lake has decreased significantly compared to the previous two days.
