Changing land use purpose, building resettlement area for expressway project through Da Nang

On July 19, the People's Committee of Da Nang City submitted to the City People's Council a document approving the list of works and projects to change the purpose of using rice-growing land, protective forest land, and additional special-use forests in 2024 in the city.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, according to the land allocation and zoning plan integrated into the city planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister , the area of ​​rice land that has not changed its land use purpose in the city according to the planning is 1,726 hectares.

Meanwhile, in Hoa Vang district, there are 4 projects proposed to be included in the list of projects using rice land in 2024, ensuring complete documents according to regulations.

The total land area required for these four projects is more than 11 hectares. Of which, more than 6.4 hectares is rice land and nearly 5 hectares of other land.

Specifically, the project needs to use the largest planned rice-growing land area, which is resettlement area No. 1 to serve the clearance of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project (Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district). This resettlement project needs to use more than 6.1 hectares of rice-growing land and more than 4.7 hectares of other types of land.

According to research, to serve the site clearance for the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project and the service road, Da Nang needs 792 resettlement plots.

However, many resettlement areas still do not have actual land, and new resettlement areas are still taking steps to implement. Therefore, mobilizing households to hand over land and housing for the project is very difficult.

In addition, many households in Hoa Son commune do not have resettlement land arranged on the spot. The People's Committee of Da Nang City has a policy of arranging land in neighboring areas, but people expressed their wish to be resettled in Hoa Son for convenience in religious activities.
