On the afternoon of January 10, Da Nang City Police received information related to the incident in which a stranger placed a box in front of the school gate and then ran away.

Accordingly, after receiving information about a "strange object" appearing in front of the gate of Phan Chau Trinh High School (Hai Chau 1 Ward, Hai Chau District), the authorities were present at the scene to deploy safety measures and inspect and verify according to procedures.

Through inspection, it was determined that the object was an empty suitcase. The owner of the object was Mr. LQD (born in 1988, currently residing in Thuan Phuoc ward, Hai Chau district). His family confirmed that Mr. LQD was being treated for mental illness.

As VietNamNet reported, at noon the same day, security guards at Phan Chau Trinh High School discovered a man holding a brown box standing for a long time in front of the school gate on Le Loi Street.

Seeing the suspicious situation, the security guard immediately came to ask, the man quickly threw the box and ran away. Realizing that there were signs of danger, the security guard reported to the school leadership. Immediately after that, the school proactively informed the police and the army to investigate the incident. To ensure the safety of the students, the school board moved all the students to a safe place.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities were present to set up a blockade, prohibiting vehicles from passing through Le Loi Street to the intersection of Le Duan Street in Hai Chau 1 Ward (Hai Chau District). In front of the gate of Phan Chau Trinh High School, the authorities prepared many items to deploy safety measures.
