Announcing the Top 50 most innovative and effective businesses in Vietnam in 2024

On the afternoon of June 24, in Hanoi, Dau Tu Newspaper in collaboration with Vietnam Business Research Joint Stock Company (Viet Research) organized the Announcement Ceremony of the List of Top 50 Innovative and Effective Enterprises in Vietnam 2024 (VIE50), Top 10 Innovative and Effective Enterprises in Vietnam 2024 in key economic sectors (VIE10) and Top 100 Innovative and Effective Products and Services of 2024. In particular, Top VIE50 has the presence of major brands such as: Viettel; FPT; Vietcombank; Vinamilk; VNPT; BIDV ; Vingroup; PetroVietnam; Masan Group... The program aims to raise awareness of the community and businesses about the importance of innovation and reform in the new economic period, honor and promote the efforts of innovation, creativity and reform of Vietnamese enterprises.

It is known that 2024 is the second consecutive year that the VIE50 List and Top 10 Innovative and Effective Businesses in Vietnam 2024 in the following industries: Information technology - telecommunications; pharmaceuticals; logistics; banking; insurance; retail; agriculture ; food and beverage; real estate - construction; construction materials; oil and gas - energy - electricity; chemicals - plastics - packaging and Top 100 effective innovative products of the year were announced and honored based on the research results of Viet Research. Speaking at the event, Mr. Truong Minh Tien - CEO of Viet Research, the businesses honored in the event are those that have applied creativity, innovation and reform in operating models, product and service design, management thinking, work organization and implementation methods, contributing to improving production and business efficiency, establishing a position in the market and contributing to the overall development of the whole country.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Le Trong Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Investment Newspaper, the honored enterprises are the most typical representatives of the Vietnamese business community, always maintaining growth rate in the difficult period of the whole market and economy , with significant improvements, changes and innovations in production, business, sales and administration, making significant contributions to the community. In particular, the results of a quick survey of enterprises in the VIE50 and VIE10 lists show that up to 86% of enterprises believe that innovation is an important key to growth in the coming time, in which the majority of enterprises focus on innovation, improving products, services and processes. More than 70% of enterprises in the survey also said that they plan to increase their budget for innovation in at least the next 2 years. Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee said that the event is of special importance in the context that the business community is facing many difficulties and challenges due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the general difficulties of the world economy. The businesses honored in the Top 50, Top 10 and Top 100 will create important momentum for the Vietnamese business community and entrepreneurs in the coming period. According to the Organizing Committee, Vietnam is witnessing remarkable progress in technology development, applying digitalization in innovation and launching new products of the Vietnamese business community.

"Many businesses are entering very new and difficult fields such as chip manufacturing, data technology, artificial intelligence, electric vehicle manufacturing... New development trends such as green development, sustainable development, and moving towards high ESG standards have also appeared more and more in the lives of businesses in Vietnam," the Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission emphasized.
