Recognition of collective trademark "Bao Thang Pineapple - Lao Cai"

Recently, the People's Committee of Bao Thang district coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology of the province, the Center for Technology Transfer and Agricultural Extension to organize the Ceremony to announce the Decision, award the protection certificate and grant the right to use the collective trademark "Bao Thang Pineapple - Lao Cai".

Bao Thang pineapple is one of the high quality agricultural products, with an area of ​​over 470 hectares, annual output reaching over 10,000 tons, grown mainly in Ban Phiet, Ban Cam and Thai Nien communes.

Bao Thang Pineapple Collective Brand, after being granted a certificate of quality management rights as well as product labels, will be managed by the District Farmers' Association. The product also has a brand identity system and printed packaging, and labels when put on the market.

The protection of the Bao Thang Pineapple collective trademark is the basis and legal tool for the District Farmers' Association to grant the right to use the collective trademark to organizations and individuals whose products meet the requirements. Thereby, organizations and individuals growing pineapples in the area can use, exploit and protect the value of their products, contributing to improving the quality and value, creating prestige for customers, and being an opportunity to introduce and promote products, expand the consumption market and promote agricultural production towards high-quality goods.
