Recognizing 32 more model residential areas and civilized urban areas

The People's Committee of Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province has just issued a decision to recognize 32 villages and neighborhoods in the area as model new rural villages and urban civilized neighborhoods.

Of the 32 residential areas recognized this time, 20 residential areas meet the standards of model new rural villages and civilized urban areas level 1; 10 residential areas meet level 2 and 2 residential areas meet the standards of model new rural villages.

Along with recognizing the residential area as meeting the model new rural standards and civilized urban areas, the District People's Committee also awarded a project worth 50 million VND to each unit reaching level 1, 70 million VND to units reaching level 2 and 100 million VND to units reaching the model level.

Up to now, Cam Lo district has 69/80 residential areas recognized as meeting the standards of new rural models at all levels. These are residential areas with outstanding achievements in implementing the National Target Program on new rural construction; fulfilling the set criteria well.

In particular, people have promoted the spirit of solidarity, mobilized resources, donated land and trees to build roads and cultural institutions; actively shifted the economic structure, developed production to increase income...
