Mass mobilization work in Hung Xuyen

With appropriate forms and activities, building "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models close to reality, mass mobilization work in Hung Xuyen commune, Doan Hung district has brought practical results, with strong influence in the community.

Many roads in residential areas in the commune have been installed with street lighting systems, contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.

Dao Phuong Thao's family is a poor household in Nghinh Lap area, Hung Xuyen commune. The three sisters live in a seriously degraded temporary house. Their living conditions are extremely difficult and they have to rely on the help of relatives when their parents are divorced and their father has just passed away.

Faced with that situation, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee consulted with the District Party Committee's Standing Committee to support the construction of a mass mobilization house for Thao's family worth 180 million VND. Of which, 70 million VND was taken from the district's "Mass Mobilization House" fund, 10 million VND from the district's "For the Poor" fund; 10 million VND from the Party Committee, the government and the Commune Charity Home Mobilization Committee; 85 million VND from the Commune Red Cross Society, along with the support of agencies and businesses... to help Thao's family stabilize their lives. The house is expected to be completed in December 2024.

In addition to doing a good job of supporting housing construction, in 2024, the People's Mobilization Bloc of Hung Xuyen commune also carried out many practical activities in the "People's Mobilization Month" such as building a model of lighting from the alley to the house; repairing and cleaning monuments and steles commemorating heroic martyrs; cleaning traffic corridors of inter-village and inter-commune roads; building charity houses and solidarity houses; self-management models of environmental protection in residential areas... Over 70% of the main roads and inter-hamlet roads in the commune have lighting systems. In some sparsely populated sections of the road, where conditions for street lighting in residential areas are not yet met, the inter-family group has propagated and mobilized each household to install street lights in front of their family gate. 80% of households practice good hygiene, plant flowers and ornamental plants in front of the gate, creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape.

The implementation of democracy at the grassroots level has always been focused on by the Party Committee and the government of Hung Xuyen commune, implementing well the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". For the contents made public for people to know, the People's Committee directs propaganda and wide dissemination to the people in many forms such as public posting at the cultural house of the residential area, announcement on the commune's radio system, through people's meetings on the socio -economic development plan, mobilization work, use of funds, and revenues from the people; subjects and collection levels of fees and charges directly collected by the People's Committee; policies, plans, and subjects eligible for loans to develop production. The review of poor and near-poor households, the assessment of subjects receiving social subsidies, support for building poor households and households with difficult housing circumstances, the issuance of health insurance cards, and support campaigns are all made public and transparent...
