The 1,200 billion VND cultural park in Ha Dong district will be completed in 2027.

The People's Committee of Ha Dong district has just approved the results of the architectural design competition for the cultural, entertainment and sports park project located in Ha Cau and Kien Hung wards.

It is expected to contribute to establishing a harmonious architectural landscape space axis for major routes in the area, such as Ring Road 3.5, Phuc La - Van Phu road and new urban areas of Van Phu, Phu Luong, Kien Hung.

According to the competition results, the winning plan has 4 squares located at the 4 main gates of the park. The Traditional Square on an area of ​​17,300m2 is the center, representing the culture of the Doai region, showing the legend of Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh, the love of people for the country, for survival.

The square's background is therefore painted with images of nine-tusked elephants, nine-spurred chickens, and nine-red-haired horses. The gate's materials and colors are a bit classical (the color of time) but still ensure modern elements, balanced and neat, suitable for the large space of the central square, as well as Cau Do street, an ancient place in the old Ha Dong area.

Festival Square is a place to organize entertainment activities, so around it are enhanced spaces and playgrounds for children to freely participate in creative entertainment and practice motor skills;

Memory Square is stylized from the layout, lines, and materials typical of ancient architectural works, representing the culture of Xu Doai in particular and the Northern Delta in general.

Along with that is Thuy Dinh and Cau Do which are simulated on the bridge to the island. The works are all modern, but carry the soul of cultural and historical architecture.

The public service square in the West is connected to the kite gate, a plan that affirms that kites deserve to represent recreational sports in the social life of the city.
